Hale, became hooked on radio when he was 8 years old and received a transistor radio as a gift from his mom. He got his start in radio at the age of 15 when he was hired to work weekends at WMKR in Millinocket, Me. He later attended the University \u00a0of Maine and the Leland Powers School of Communications &amp; Theatre in Boston. Michael has worked for a variety of \u00a0radio stations in Maine and at ESPN Radio in Florida. He also was a commercial and sports announcer for many years at WABI television in Bangor, Me. Michael W.
