Homeowner and dog escape Trenton house fire<\/b><\/p>\n
The Fire Marshal\u2019s office is investigating a fire at a home in Trenton.<\/span><\/p>\n Just before 5 a.m. on Monday, the Trenton fire department responded to a home fully engulfed on Baxter Ledge Road.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Authorities say the homeowner and dog were able to get out safely.<\/span><\/p>\n Investigators believe the fire started outside of the home but the investigation is ongoing.<\/span><\/p>\n Maine State Police launches investigation into missing Aroostook county man<\/b><\/p>\n Maine State Police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate a missing man from Aroostook county.<\/span><\/p>\n 43-year-old Jason Kirschmann hasn\u2019t been seen or heard from since October 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n Maine State Police recently became the primary investigative agency and they\u2019re asking anyone who may know about Jason\u2019s whereabouts to come forward.<\/span><\/p>\n Police say Jason was last known to be in the Boundary Line Road area of Hamlin described as a white male, 5\u2019 10\u201d and approximately 170 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.<\/span><\/p>\n If you know anything, call Maine State Police 1-800-924-2261.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Flight diverted to Bangor airport Monday<\/b><\/p>\n A flight diverted to the Bangor International Airport on Monday due to a cockpit fire according to the FAA.<\/span><\/p>\n The flight landed safely around noon.<\/span><\/p>\n WABI news reports the Swiss International Air Lines flight 16F landed at a full stop on the runway but it has since reopened.<\/span><\/p>\n The company says 208 people were on the plane and upon investigations there was no actual fire found.<\/span><\/p>\n However Swiss says there was a presence of smoke in the business class area of the plane.<\/span><\/p>\n https:\/\/www.wabi.tv\/2026\/07\/27\/swiss-air-flight-diverted-bangor-international-airport\/<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n Law requiring notice to people restricted from state property goes into effect<\/b><\/p>\n A law sponsored by Sen.
