Approved development of apartments in Ellsworth hits financial snag<\/b><\/p>\n
(Ellsworth)<\/b>\u00a0Development\u00a0of more than 100 apartments being built in the city of Ellsworth\u00a0is facing delays because of financing constraints according to the Bangor Daily News.<\/p>\n
Last year, W.L. Properties got approval from the city to build 27 buildings, each with four to eight apartments, on\u00a0property behind\u00a0Ellsworth\u00a0Candlepin<\/span>\u00a0Bowling.<\/p>\n As part of that approval, the company had to provide proof of financial capacity from a bank to ensure the project would be completed.<\/p>\n According to the\u00a0BDN<\/span>, the\u00a0banks have since told Scott\u00a0Pelletier<\/span>, the owner of the company, that they cannot give him one loan that would cover the full cost of the project.
