April is Pet First Aid Awareness Month
When it comes to taking care of our pets there’s always something we can do more of.
The American Red Cross is urging pet owners to create a plan and prepare for the unexpected in case your animal becomes hurt or sick.
For Pet First Aid awareness month, leaders at the Red Cross urge people to first take a pet first aid online course.
This will guide pet owners on the journey of assembling a pet first aid kit and it’s only 30 minutes.
Basic supplies like gloves, gauze, elastic bandages and a clean cloth is just the start of things to keep on hand when adventuring with your furry friend.
So, before you go on that first hike or run, follow the links below to make sure you have what you need to keep you and your pet safe.
