Maine Game Warden dies in Avon plane crash
Officials say a Maine Game Warden died in a plane crash on Tuesday morning.
It happened in Franklin County.
WABI news reports 50-year-old Game Warden Joshua Tibbetts is based out of Eagle Lake.
Authorities say his plane crashed near Avon in the area of Schoolhouse Pond and he was the only person on board.
The Federal Aviation Administration says the aircraft, a Cessna 185F, crashed in the woods around 11:45 AM.
The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate.

One man dies after car crash in Rockport
A man died after a crash in Rockport Tuesday.
Police say it happened at around 7:30 AM on Rockville Street.
WABI news reports 20-year-old Taygan McAllister of Waldoboro was killed, according to Rockland Police.
Another car was involved in the crash however the driver was uninjured.
Police say speed appears to be a factor.

Leaders at Northern Light AR Gould Hospital in Aroostook County announced they are now offering a new test to improve heart care.
The Coronary CTA will help speed up the process of evaluating patients who come in with chest pains.
WABI News reports the test is an imaging scan that shows whether buildup has narrowed the arteries supplying blood to your heart.
Officials are now able to provide the test.

Through the rest of the month, households who have not signed up for the Home Energy Assistance Program will be the focus through the effort.
The Ellsworth American reports the service will bring application support to rural communities ensuring residents have the opportunity to connect to needed resources.
The publication reports the mobile services plans to stop at the Cherryfield Town Office on May 26, Milbridge Town Office on May 27, Sullivan Town Office on May 28 and the Deer Isle Town Office on May 29.
