Crash in Stetson closed down road delaying traffic
On Wednesday, three people were taken to the hospital after a crash.
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s office responded to the scene.
WABI news reports, authorities closed LaPoint and Village roads in Stetson.
The extent of their injuries and the cause of the crash is unknown at this time.

Residents in Hancock Heights speak about affordability
Residents at a mobile home park outside of Ellsworth are speaking out on the lack of affordability.
Hancock Heights Estates is a mobile home park outside of Ellsworth with more than 100 homes.
The Ellsworth American reports residents are voicing their concern over rising rent and water costs, poor management and neglected maintenance.
The publication reports the mobile home park is owned by Sun Communities, a multibillion-dollar real estate investment trust out of Michigan.

Special Olympics Maine State Summer Games returns
This will be a busy weekend in Orono as the Special Olympics Maine State Summer games will be held this weekend.
At the University of Maine, more than 2,200 athletes and coaches from each county across the state will compete, celebrate and embrace community.
Organizers say more people have signed up to volunteer making it a smooth process to help families and fans!
In the days leading up, law enforcement from across the state will participate in the Law Enforcement Torch Run carrying the Flame of Hope through towns and cities in Maine.
Events begin Friday at 9AM and will conclude Sunday afternoon.

300 days in the earth’s orbit is what Meir and her crew are celebrating and of course she got a space cake to celebrate.
