- Glue sticks
- White school glue
- Scissors (child-safe or standard, depending on age)
- Wide-ruled or college-ruled notebook paper
- Spiral notebooks
- Composition notebooks
- Graph paper (for some math classes)
- Index cards
- Pocket folders
- 3-ring binder(s)
- Binder dividers
- Plastic sheet protectors
- Pencil pouch or pencil box
- Sticky notes
- Planner or assignment book (if not provided by the school)
- Ruler (12-inch/30 cm)
- Protractor (sometimes required)
- Compass (for geometry)
- Calculator (grade-specific)
- Dry-erase markers (if requested)
- Dry-erase eraser or old sock (if requested)
- Backpacks
- Lunch box or lunch bag
