Temporary bridge in Old Town collapses
On Thursday afternoon, a replacement bridge in Old Town collapsed.
The Old Town Police Chief says three people were on the bridge at the time.
WABI news reports those individuals have non-life threatening injuries.
Officials say construction crew were in the process of pouring concrete when the bridge on Stillwater Avenue collapsed into the river.
All roads were reopened around 3 p.m.

Mill worker hospitalized after being shocked
On Thursday, a worker from the Sappi Somerset Mill in Skowhegan was taken to the hospital.
First responders got reports that the worker was shocked.
WABI reports the man was not breathing after being shocked while on a machine at the mill according to a report from The Morning Sentinel.
A spokesperson told the paper the employee was injured in an electrical incident and the man was in stable condition at a Portland hospital.

Sen. Susan Collins announces ICE officers in Maine have body cameras
Sen. Susan Collins says ICE enforcement officers in Maine will now be trained and equipped with body-worn cameras.
Collins says the cameras actually arrived two weeks ahead of schedule.
This after an ICE agent involved in a fatal shooting in Biddeford did not wear a body camera.
Ordinances amended in Jonesport amid discussions around Kingfish Maine
Jonesport residents voted to remove special ordinance variances for a land-based aquaculture project.
Kingfish Maine was first proposed by the Netherlands-based company.
The Ellsworth American reports during the vote on Aug. 5, a deadline for Kingfish to show a ‘substantial start’ on the proposed plant costing up to $100 million.
Another revision made was having the company exempted from the standard requirement that 30% of a project must be complete in the first year.
The publication reports another ordinance amended was to authorize the planning board to okay permit revisions.
Boil water order issued in Ellsworth lifted
City leaders in Ellsworth say the boil water order issued for portions of the city have been lifted.
Residents and businesses on Grant Street, Liberty Street, Chapel Street, Willow Street, Youngs Avenue, Bucksport Road from court street to Chapel Street, Laurel Street, Upper South Street and Maple Street no longer need to boil their water before consumption.

Kick off the weekend with live music from Stillwater
Head to Fogtown Brewing Company Friday at 6 p.m. for some live music from Stillwater.
The group came out of Old Town and brought a new kick to the New England Bluegrass scene.
