Bangor PD arrest Minnesota man after dispute on tarmac
Over the weekend, a Minnesota man was arrested for disorderly conduct after landing at Bangor International Airport.
Police say 59-year-old Jeffery Wazenegger became upset about waiting on the tarmac and proceeded to yell and become aggressive toward staff and passengers.
WABI news reports he then attempted to leave the sky bridge, an officer tried to detain him and he caused minor injuries to another officer.
On top of disorderly conduct he faced a charge of refusing to submit to arrest and assault on a police officer.

Crystal man charged with arson after mobile home fire
Maine State Police arrested a Crystal man after saying he allegedly attempted to burn down a mobile home he had been renting.
On Friday, Houlton Police arrested 25-year-old Walker Craig on an arrest warrant issued by the State Fire Marshal’s office.
After investigators responded to 713 Crystal Road in Crystal on Aug. 25, they determined that Craig attempted to burn the home causing a small fire.
He remains in custody at Aroostook County jail where his bail has been set at $10,000 cash.
Authorities seek the public’s help in finding missing Holden girl
On Nov. 2, 2025, Mary Hembree of Holden was last seen.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children are asking for the public’s help as her family says they’ve had no communication with her since the disappearance.
Authorities say Hembree is described at 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighed 320 pounds when she was last seen.
She has blue eyes and was last seen with blue dyed hair.
Authorities believe the now 18-year-old may still be in the local area or may have traveled to Massachusetts.

Ellsworth Historical Society to host True Crime dress rehearsal
Ahead of the Ellsworth Autumn Gold Festival, the Ellsworth Historical Society has a thrilling evening ahead for you.
On Thursday, Sept. 24, you can join community members for a free dress rehearsal performance of True Crime: 1815 – The Trial of Dr. Moses Adams with the main event following on Friday, Sept. 25.
Proceeds from the benefit will go straight to the historical society as participants go straight to the courtroom and determine the fate of an infamous historical figure or two.
The dress rehearsal will take place at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and it’s free and open to the public.
Ellsworth Jewelers to host ‘Diamond Dig’ benefiting Hancock County
For the third year, Ellsworth Jewelers will host their annual Diamond Dig event benefiting Hancock County Sheriff’s Charities.
