An Orono High graduate (class of 1978), Steve received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine (B.U.S. with a concentration in earth sciences), a master’s degree from Bangor Theological Seminary, and a doctorate from Duke University (D. Min. with a concentration in communications.) Steve is married to Old Town native Judy; they are parents to two grown sons and seven grandchildren. Steve has been in the broadcast business for close to forty years, spending many years in radio before devoting twenty two years as meteorologist at WLBZ-TV. Along with weather duties, Steve also serves as pastor of the Bangor First United Methodist Church and Milbridge-Wyman United Methodist Church. Steve’s hobbies includes exploring the great state of Maine with Judy, yard work, a bit of golf, and spending as much time as possible with his awesome grandkids!
