Vanessa was born and raised in Aroostook County. She attended the New England School of Communications for radio broadcasting. Vanessa’s first radio gig was reporting news at an Ellsworth station on the Buttermilk Road in 2001. She’s done radio in Florida, Virginia, and Indiana, but moved back to Maine in 2013 to raise her family. If Vanessa could give the world one piece of advice it would be “use your blinkers.”
