Driving safety & aging talk at Northeast Harbor Library
On May 18, the Northeast Harbor Library will host Dr. Tom Meuser from the Maine Mature Drivers Project for an informative presentation.
The free event will help inform older adults, their families and professionals who serve them better understand the status of operating a motor vehicle safely.
Leaders say it’s not just a discussion on driving but it’s about how older adults can remain safely mobile behind the wheel, medical concerns in driver licensing and anything else around aging-related impacts on driving.
