Bail Doubled to $100K for Former Husson Professor

A Bangor judge agreed to double bail to $100,000 cash for former Husson University assistant professor Jonathan Houck, who faces 10 felony counts of child sexual abuse material and violation of privacy.

Prosecutors argued the substantial increase was necessary after digital forensic searches revealed Houck secretly photographed adult college students undressing alongside possessing illicit material of minors.

WABI reports that if released on bail, Houck is barred from internet access, campus grounds, contact with minors, and must stay at least five miles away from local elementary schools.
